Up and down buttonhole stitch

The TAST stitch for week 28 is up and down buttonhole stitch. This time I made some small rows on my red Aida sampler. The first row is done with 1 thread of DMC Jewell effects, a metallic thread.
This double row of triangle up and down buttonhole stitch is done in perle 12.
A variation in perle 8 with a straight and a slanted part in the stitch.
The same variation as the last row, only this time in perle 5 with some space between the stitches.
A variation with stranded DMC, 2 threads of green floss and 1 thread blue Jewel effects.
The next sample is a crossed up and down buttonhole stitch in perle 5. The first part of the stitch is slanted to the left for the second part of the cross.
The second part of the stitch is slanted to the right for the first part of the cross.
My last experiment is a combo of the triangle and crossed up and down buttonhole stitch in perle 5. I stitched it in 2 different colors so I can see how I stitched it if I want to repeat this again.
The complete up and down buttonhole stitch sampler is on my Flickr-page.
