Yesterday I shared the last stitches on my red Aida
sampler, today it’s completely finished. There are TAST stitches for weeks
25-29. I’ve added some 2mm beads, blue ones between the double row of bonnet
stitches,
green ones at the ends of the Palestrina stitches
and between the crossed Palestrina stitches
and green ones between the triangle up and down
buttonhole stitch.
The big picture of this sampler is on my Flickr-page.
Very nice, Annet! Will you frame and hang this piece of stitched art?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThanks, Suz. No, I'm not going to frame this. It's going to be part of my TAST 2012 fabric book.
Verwijderenjust lovely Annet - I have never stitched on aida - you like it for samplers, no? it looks lovely here with all your beautiful stitching
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThanks! Yes Aida works very nice for samplers. It's easy to see what I've done when I want to repeat it again.
VerwijderenI agree with Suztats, this sampler should be framed!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenStitching on red is really striking. A beautiful piece. Well done, again!
Thanks, Queenie. I cannot frame everything, there's just not enough wall to hang it! It's going to be part of my TAST 2012 fabric book.
VerwijderenWhat a wonderful sampler! I love this work, Annet!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThanks, Claudia.
