Bullion knots

The TAST stitch for week 20 is the bullion knot. I’ve used it in my padded surface this week, but I wanted to add it to one of my samplers too. I’ve stitched a few bullion knots around the square herringbone stitches in perle 12. The bullion knots are done in wool and cotton a broder. The bullions in the top left corner are wrapped clockwise, the others counter clockwise. Somehow it works better for me this way!

  1. not seen the square herringbone before except on your pic on SF, love the bullions they are very uniform in shape, not easy to get them all lined up like that.
