Crossed buttonhole stitch

The TAST stitch for week 18 is crossed buttonhole stitch. My first experiment is stitched with purple perle 12 and yellow running stitches in perle 8. At the right the stitches are further apart.
The next row is done in Stef Francis spun silk with flames.
This is a woven variation. I saw something similar in other peoples experiments this week and thought it would be fun to make a woven variation. In my notes 
I called it woven crossed buttonhole stitch. I wrote a tutorial for this here.
This last row is stitched with 2 threads of stranded DMC.
With these rows I finished my Aida sampler. There’s a photo of it at my Flickr-page.
