Woven crossed buttonhole stitch

This woven crossed buttonhole stitch was one of my experiments for the TAST stitch for week 18. I stitched this sample with perle 12. First I made 3 stitches close together slanting to the right.
Then I wove the needle from right to left under the second stitch and pulled it through until the needle was free.
Then I made a buttonhole stitch slanting to the left and pulled the thread through.
Then I wove the needle from right to left under the first and last stitch and pulled it through until the needle was free.
Then I made another buttonhole stitch slanting to the left and pulled the thread through.
My woven crossed buttonhole stitch.
