Stumpwork faces

This was on my to-do-list for a very long time. I used my book Beginner’s Guide to Stumpwork by Kay Dennis to make them. Unfortunately the face in that book has no nose, so I tried to add noses. I’m not very happy with the nose of the brown haired lady,
grandma’s nose is much better.

  1. This is just my thing! I love these little portraits and no one will ever look the same. We all have different noses so these dolls will, too!
    Have fun!

  3. I too have found nose's the hardest part of these faces to perfect. I found the fewer the stitches the better.

  4. your stumpwork faces have worked very well, I wish I had a small nose like your first one, much better than a large one I say

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I enjoy reading them and try to reply at the same post within a few days.
