Bouquet

I’m doing a series of embroidered ATC swaps and the third stitch was the lazy daisy or detached chain stitch. The lazy daisy ATC I received was my inspiration. I just started to make some flowers on a polka dot fabric. The stem is made of the rope stitch. I made the butterfly wings with buttonhole stitches and lazy daisies. His body is a bullion knot and his head a French knot with two tiny straight stitches.

  1. It's a lovely card. Nice idea to use the dots as flowers.

  3. Lovely ATC, the embroidery works so well with the polka dots. It looks wonderfully vintage.
