I participated in a few
ATC swaps and had the same partners for 2 of them. I made my ATC’s for Ruth,
who’s work I have seen since the very first TAST! Of course I had to use TAST
stitches on her ATC, woven trellis, French knots and woven detached chain
stitch. It’s been 6 weeks since I sent it to her, but I still hope it will
arrive.
And this is the second
ATC I made for Ruth. This time I wove the selvages and partly covered it with
fancy organza, which I attached with French knots. This one arrived after only
8 days!
These pretty ATC’s are
made for me by Arlyna in China. I like the words on the first ATC. . .
. . . and the cute label and
Ikea selvage on the second ATC.
Thank you Arlyna!
Wherever you go there is an IKEA store!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou have made and received some nice ATCs. I hope Ruth gets her card in the end.
I always think of quilting fabric when I make something of selvages, never thought of Ikea fabric! If Ruth doesn't get her ATC soon, I just sent her a new one, another excuse to use TAST stitches!
Verwijderendo hope the card arrives safe and sound, better late than never. nice selection of cards here
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThank you, Margaret.
VerwijderenVery nice cards and good imagination in your designes!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThank you, Susan. It's fun to play with these selvages!
VerwijderenI like the selvage ATC - and yours with the flowers on it is very, very nice.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThank you, Anneliese! I just experimented with a few flowers to see how it looked.
VerwijderenThese cards are so cute! What does ATC stand for?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThank you! ATC stands for Artist Trading Card. They are to be traded, not sold. It's a piece of art sized 2.5 x 3.5 inch in any medium, it's fun! I've been collecting and making them for many years.
