Do you remember my Hookay Smoking Caterpillar? The tinting with coloured pencils I used on that book page was new to me, so I tried it in a smaller size first and turned it into an ATC.
I used Mollie’s tutorial for the tinting.


  1. Nicely done and thanks for the link. Tinting the cloth with coloured pencils is a great idea when a bit more colour is needed.

  2. Colouring pens, crayons and ink go so well with stitching!

  3. I did not realise you could use ordinary crayons, thought it would be the ones that you use with water, when I get a few spare moments will have to have a go, your tulip has worked very successfully
