Last week I shared my bare tree for the cover of my
fabric book Trees. This week
I stitched detached chain stitch leaves with DMC
color variations perle 5. It was so
much fun to see this tree grow with every new stitch. I’m very happy
with the result!
Take a closer look at my tree here.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenDank je wel.
VerwijderenOh, I love the green tree and understand how much fun it must have been to see the leaves sprout.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYes, I couldn't stop stitching until it was done!
VerwijderenLeuk Annet, weer een andere opzet....is de stam van stof gemaakt...?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenJa, de boomstam heb ik van een stuk batik gemaakt. De onderkant is gerimpeld, de takken gedraaid.
Verwijderentree looks great, what would we do without perle thread, very disappointed that DMC have discontinued their varigated perle 8`s there are only two colours available now, had I of known would have bought some in, never mind I probably have more than I will ever use already!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like the variegated DMC in perle 5, but I couldn't find it in my country. So I have to find it online. Most shops in The Netherlands only have stranded floss and normal perle 5!
Verwijderenthis really is gorgeous Annet...such beautiful dense stitching. I love the surface texture you have achieved.
