It’s been almost a month since I stitched on my
cloth! This weekend I stitched the seams at the edge of block 4. I started with
alternating barred chain stitch in cotton a broder.
Then I added French knots with perle 5.
On the last part of the edge I stitched crested
chain stitch with perle 12. It wasn’t easy to connect 6 layers of fabric this
way!
Take a closer look at block 4 with embroidered edges
here.
six layers of fabric....yes, it can be difficult I know. You have made such a wonderful job of this though

Misschien reageer ik de laatste tijd niet zo vaak, maar ik geniet telkens weer van de foto's van je bijzondere borduurwerk!

You've done a great job using these different stitches.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's nice to come back to a project one has put aside for some time.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou have stitched these pieces nicely, but it must have been a tough job with all those layers.
I wondered what had happened to this piece, good to see you are back making lovely seams
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHet blijft altijd weer een feestje om naar je mooie werk te kijken.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSix layers is a lot! Looking forward to seeing more of your cloth.
