The last seam on my CQ
fan was the curved one. I crocheted a trim in Anchor Aida #10 with a size 1½ hook.
The pattern is from the book Exquisite trims in Thread Crochet by Caitlin
Sainio.
This week’s zentangle
challenge at I am the diva is Traced Object Strings. We bought a new game
called Stenen Tijdperk recently and I kept the stencils, because I wanted to
use them for something artsy.
This week’s zentangle
challenge at I am the diva is UMT Fanz. My shoe is inspired by the pretty boot
template from Ben Kwok. I found it in the book Eenvoudig tekenen by Chris Hart.
I used Papyrus, Fanz and Sproing.
I’m participating in a
series of swaps for Teesha Moore inspired patches. My January patch for
Stephanie returned to me, but it arrived last week after a second trip to the
USA. It’s embroidered with bullion knots, straight stitches and running
stitches.
And this is the pretty
patch I received in the January swap. It’s made for me by Monica. I just love the wonky edge!
This week’s zentangle
challenge at I am the diva is to use Flux. I thought it would be fun to use it
on a spread in my altered book Rooie. The background is acrylic paint. It was
fun!
