Knotted loop stitch

The TAST stitch for week 41 is knotted loop stitch. I had no idea what to stitch, so
I decided to continue on the sampler with the Cretan stitches. Cretan stitch has a similar look, so I echoed the shape of my Cretan stitches. I’ve used cotton a broder, perle 5 and 8.
Have a closer look at this sampler at my Flickr-page.

  2. Very nice, Annet! I had trouble with this stitch, so I put it away, to try again next week. Then I'll have three stitches to catch up on!

  4. I, too, am using both Knotted Loop and Cretan stitches in my work. Mainly to see how they look together.
Your picture is great because the shadow of the stitches adds extra interest.
