I’m
still adding French knots to my week 13 sampler. Today I want to show the
whipped wheels I added last week. These 2 are stitched in cotton a broder (left)
and perle 5 (right). The right one is a combination of whipped and woven parts.
Another
whipped and woven wheel in cotton a broder.
A
whipped wheel in perle 5 with a donut bead. It’s one of the beads I bought in
Amsterdam a few weeks ago. I wrote about that here.
I am really struggling with my whipped wheels so I envy you being able to perfect them. I will keep trying now you have shown me how beautiful they can be. Take care. Marion x
I wrote a tutorial about how I make these whipped wheels. Just go to the top of this page and click on the word Tutorial. There you find a growing list of my tutorials. Hope this helps!

The idea for the bead came from Sharon's embroidery class. It took me until a few weeks ago to find the right beads!
