Barred chain stitch

Beyond TAST is an embroidery challenge at Pintangle. This week’s stitch is barred chain stitch, which I used for visible mending on my daughter’s blouse. The other stitches are buttonhole stitch and French knots. The thread is a variegated perle 5.

      My daughter told me which thread to use and TAST inspired me to stitch this.
