ICAD 2018

This year I participated in ICAD (Index Card A Day) for the third time. There was a weekly theme with daily prompts. I shared my cards on my Facebook blog and Instagram. You can find the theme and prompts at Daisy Yellow.
61 index cards
I made collages,
one staple collages,
a mandala in Daisy Yellow style
and doodles.
a doodled pretzel
Of course there was some embroidery, like the fringe of this altered woman.
And an experiment with tie dye fabric and embroidery floss.
I made this card on the day our dear Cindy passed away, we miss her!
For the last week I took Ihanna’s challenge to start every index card with the same paper in the same spot.
7 index cards with the same striped paper in the upper left corner, waiting for decoration
It resulted in 7 very different collages.
Now I’m working on a box for my index cards. I stitched this label in cross stitch and backstitch on Aida.

You can also follow me at Facebook or Instagram. There will be extra posts there or sneak peeks of the things I'm working on. There's something new almost every day!

  1. I have never made any index card art, so this is very interesting to look at. You are good at so many things.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
