I made this scissor case a few weeks ago, this tutorial helped me drawing my template. I used felt and stranded floss.
I stitched this detail
without planning. Detached chain stitches in purple with turquoise straight
stitches inside. Fly stitches in turquoise and orange French knots.
There was not much time
to be creative last week. So I don’t have any progress for WIPW tomorrow.
THIS however is great progress! Oh, what a simply beautiful simple scissors case! You can actually use the flap as a needle case as well.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat idea to use the flap as a needle case! Mostly I use my needleminder, but it gets crowded with more than one needle.
Verwijderena very beautiful and useful project. I agree with Queenie.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThanks, Chitra. It was fun to make this.
Verwijderenmooi ding en lijkt niet moeilijk om te maken.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIk doe morgen je uil op de post Annet !
groet, Janny
Het patroontje tekenen was lastigste. Ik ben benieuwd naar je uil!
VerwijderenA very nice home for your scissors.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAnd it's much easier to find my scissor too!
VerwijderenA very nicely done scissor case and I like Queenie's idea of using the flap for needles too. Thanks for the tutorial link.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSuch a clever idea of Queenie to use the flap for needles. I haven't touched a needle in days, but I'm looking forward to give it a try!
