De nieuwe wending uitdaging

There’s a quilting challenge at the Dutch Quiltersgilde. This is the third month. This time we had to experiment with the birds in the air block. First I drew a lot of variations to see what I could do with it.

Than it was time to see which fabric I wanted to use. It wasn’t easy this time, I had to throw in a few extra fabrics from my stash!

This block had a lot of tiny parts, so I stitched it on a foundation. These are the first finished parts of my block.

And here’s my finished and ironed 6 x 6 inch block. I like the movement in my variation!
