Work In Progress Wednesday - May 7

Yes, I managed to sew all pages for my TAST 2012 fabric book together.
The spine is 2 inch, it could stand without support for this photo.
It wasn’t easy to hold the pages in place while I was sewing them. Luckily I remembered the Clover Wonder Clips I bought recently, which gave me the
extra hand I needed!
And here are the last pages I added this week. There are bigger photos in
my TAST 2012 Flickr album if you want to take a closer look.
Now I could start on the backside of my cover. I’m stitching all names of the stitches in backstitch. The last one on the front page was BON of the name bonnet stitch, . . .
. . . so I started with NET STITCH and continued with up and down buttonhole stitch. There are 22 more names to add!
Work In Progress Wednesday is a support group to encourage people to complete languishing projects, Works In Slow Progress or UFO’s.

    1. I think this book will be used the same as my other fabric books. It's always fun to flip through the pages to find inspiration.

  4. this is a great idea. I make artists books, too, and now I think I'll put all my designs and pix of projects into an artist's book, instead of stuffed into a little folder! thanks for the push.

    1. I'm glad I could inspire you. It's so easy to find what I stitched if it's in a fabric book.

  5. By stitching the text in two different colours, the names of the stitches are easy to read, even when you have cut BON and NET on two different sides.
The book will be so lovely to look through.
