Work In Progress Wednesday - April 23

This week  I started sewing the pages for my TAST 2012 fabric book together. The first 5 pages are the beginning of my 13 page book. I sewed 2,6 mm beads between the pages, one by one. It’s time consuming, but I enjoy watching my book grow with every page I add.
Work In Progress Wednesday is a support group to encourage people to complete languishing projects, Works In Slow Progress or UFO’s.

  1. The beads will be a lovely addition to your book. Maybe I need to join this Work in progress group - very slow progress in my case!

  2. Beautiful! Every week, I find myself more eager than the last to follow the link you leave on pintangle to see what is new with your TAST book. (Seriously, I saw the note you left and thought, "Oh, goody!" as I clicked the link.) It is gorgeous!

  3. Adding beads between the pages will give the structured stitches some 'air' so they don't get crushed.
Every page is full of lovely details.

  6. The book is looking gorgeous. May I ask what have you used to stiffen the pages? I have looked through you previous posts but don't seem to be able to find one in which you describe how you put a page together.

    1. Thank you, Juno. I forgot to take photos when I was preparing the pages, so I didn't write about it. I used Vlieseline S80 for these pages, but I have use Pellon and Timtex in previous fabric book pages. Pellon and Vlieseline S80 are almost the same thickness. Hope this helps.
