Fat-Quarter: Work In Progress Wednesday

Last week I shared the making of the backside of the cover for my fabric book Trees. Now it was time to make the front. But first I made a photo of the backside of my tree.

My finished front cover. I was partly happy with it, it just needed a border.

I couched knitting yarn to the edge of the front and backside of my cover.

This will be the inside of the cover, with a pocket to hold the letters and cards that accompanied the pages.

both the front and back look lovely, how I love trees, here we will soon have no leaves but before that we will be seeing the leaves in glorious colours, my favourite time of year for the garden
