I tried 3 more new needlepoint stitches on my second design for
Sharon's Sumptuous Surface class. The first one is the renaissance stitch. It was on my to-do-list for a long time and this embroidery was a great excuse to give it a try.
The second one is brick filling, a very easy stitch.
The last one is the old Florentine stitch. I adapted it a little by adding some straight stitches between the rows.

Neat! Love the purple thread. One of these days or years, I'll get it together to do a journal of stitches....ummm, maybe....
