The last few days I was very busy trying to come up with a design for
Sharon's class sumptuous surface embroidery. I thought it would be fun to play with some gesso too. As you can see I tried to make a print of my hands in the gesso and painted it with watercolor paint. The page looks nice, but was not easy to photograph. This is a small detail of my page.
It was a lot of fun and gave me a few idea's for other gesso pages, my hands will get dirty again! So far I made 4 designs for this class, with one favorite.
