Beyond TAST

Beyond TAST is an embroidery challenge at Pintangle. I was thinking what to do without starting a new project. Then I thought about a quilt top I made 8 years ago with the plan to add embroidery. I wrote about it here. Time to find it in my cupboard and make a quilt sandwich with a false backing. Next time I hope to share the first stitches.

I’m participating in a new weekly challenge on Instagram: Art Journal Simple Prompts (#ajsp52w). A great excuse to make my first handbound book in Coptic stitch. You can see me flipping through the empty journal here.

The prompt for the first week is A, so I made a zetti Annabel.

Beweging (Dutch for movement) for the second week, the prompt is B. The paper didn't react well on the ecoline.

Last month I participated in Marit’s Top 2000 blog party for the second time. It was a busy holiday, so I only made 3 collages. The first one was inspired by the song These boots are made for walkin’ by Nancy Sinatra.
