Christmas Stars

I patched this quilt in 2007, but never finished it. Last week I added batting and a backing, so now it’s ready to quilt. The centre star is part of the quiltpattern Aurora Stars, designed by Shelley Swanland.

I made another selvage ATC for a swap. The lace flower is attached with French knots.

ICAD 2018

This year I participated in ICAD (Index Card A Day) for the third time. There was a weekly theme with daily prompts. You can find the theme and prompts at Daisy Yellow.

Of course there was some embroidery, like the fringe of this altered woman.

And an experiment with tie dye fabric and embroidery floss.

I made this card on the day our dear Cindy passed away, we miss her!

For the last week I took Ihanna’s challenge to start every index card with the same paper in the same spot.

Now I’m working on a box for my index cards. I stitched this label in cross stitch and backstitch on Aida.
