ICAD week 2

This year I’m participating in ICAD, which stands for Index Card A Day. There’s a weekly theme with daily prompts. I managed to make a card each day, so I have 20 cards finished. I share them on my Facebook blog the day I create them and I’ll write a weekly post with more info here. You can find the theme and prompts for week 2 at Daisy Yellow.

My card for day 8 is a combo of drawing and collage.
I collaged a compass for day 9 on a background of acrylic paint.
A blue collage for day 10.
I know almost nothing about baseball, but remembered this part of the movie Rain Man. I just wrote the words on an acrylic background.
Childhood memories for day 12. Meneer de Uil (Dutch for Mister Owl) told children many stories about what happened in Het Grote Bos (Dutch for The big forest). You can see and hear him here.
Another collage for day 13.
And the last card for the second week. If you can read Dutch, maybe you can find the little joke.
You can take a closer look at all cards I made for ICAD 2016 in my Flickr album.

You can also follow this blog at Facebook. From time to time there will be extra posts there or sneak peeks of the things I'm working on. In June and July I’m posting my cards for ICAD there on the day I create them. Here I will write a weekly post about them with more info.

    1. Dank je wel, Marit. vorig jaar heb ik alleen meegekeken, nu was het tijd om mee te doen. Het geeft zo langzamerhand een ritme.

    1. Thanks, Alicia. I watched Rain Man not so long ago, so it was easy to remember. Although I found the correct words online.
