It's a Rainbow! - black

. . . is a series of colour swaps I’m participating. For this black swap I crocheted a black fig leaf from the book 100 Flowers to Knit and Crochet by Lesley Stanfield.
I appliquéd it to a piece of fabric and decorated it with beads. It was hard to photograph!
And this is the pretty mandala ATC I received for this swap. It’s made for me by Marion from Australia.
I enjoy these series, there will be 2 more swaps in gold and silver.

  1. Although black is always hard to capture by the camera we can see in great detail the beautiful crochet and beads.

    1. The photo is just too light, it was too difficult to get the colour of the different materials right. I think I made almost 30 photos at different places!

    1. The leaf was a challenge to crochet, I wasn't sure it would look right in black.
