Woven trellis stitch

TAST stitch 119 is woven trellis stitch. TAST stands for Take A Stitch Tuesday,
an embroidery challenge Pin Tangle.
I stitched this woven trellis stitch on my pretty fabric sampler and added French knots to the centre. The threads are perle 5 and Caron Watercolors.

  1. You've found the perfect spot on the background fabric for these woven stitches. Great colour combination, too.

    1. The print on the fabric helped me to get 5 petals of the same size.

  2. I really like the colors and the french knots in the center.

    1. When I started this sampler I put all matching threads I wanted to use in a ziplock bag. The French knots have the same colour as the dot on the fabric under them.

    1. Thank you Margaret. It's so much fun to see the fabric change when I add my stitches!
