TAST 103 & 104

TAST stitch 103 is beaded butterfly chain stitch. I’ve used it for a seam on
my CQ fan block. The threads are cotton a broder and YLI silk buttonhole twist. The pretty beads were a gift from Maureen. This variation was inspired by an experiment on my brown sampler.
TAST stitch 104 is buttonholed cable chain stitch. It made another pretty seam on my CQ fan block. The thread is perle 5. I decorated it with 2,6 mm beads.
My CQ fan with the new seams.
TAST stands for Take A Stitch Tuesday, an embroidery challenge at Pin Tangle.

  4. When you make the Butterfly Chain in an irregular line it really looks like the butterflies are flying. Pretty beads.
The Buttonholed Cable Chain stitch also benefits from the added beads.
