Zentangle challenge #22

Last tuesday I asked my oldest daughter to draw a string for this week's zentangle challenge. This is what I made of it. I used 2 of my patterns (Bloem and Wigwam), 2 new ones (OOF and FEDR) and some patterns from my books and printouts.

  1. Amazing Zentangle Annet. I love how you started out with the string lines. I am going to a zentangle demonstration and 'how to' this morning at Art Quilt group. Should be fun and can't wait to try it!! Dianne.

  2. This zentangle looks like it could be embroidered with stitches Annet. I would like to try these. Do they always start with the string outline. Are these what used to be called "doodles"

  3. Yes Shirley, some zentangles are fun to embroider too. I did that on my needle case. Zentangles always start with a string. Some people call them doodles, but they are much more. Just take a look at the official zentangle site to learn more about them:
